Forty years of data work, told in about two minutes

Definian moves, manages and masters data for complex enterprises: strategy, modernization, analytics and AI. Forty years in business and more than a thousand enterprise transformations behind them.
That history is the asset and the problem. A firm this established has more proof than any visitor will read, and the buyer is usually an executive deciding in one sitting whether these are serious people. So the site leads with the work, puts numbers on it, and gets out of the way.
Adrial is my go-to designer for anything my business needs … which is why I have used him for three different companies over the last 20+ years.

Three planes that land on each other
A homepage gets about three seconds to feel like somebody made it on purpose. This one opens with Definian's own branded shapes assembling themselves in Definian's own green, so the first thing a visitor registers is the brand rather than a stock photograph. It loads quickly and leaves an impression.

Illustration
Four solutions, four drawings nobody else has
Data Strategy, Modernization, Insights, AI and Automation, each with its own isometric mark drawn for this company. Drawings made for one brand are an asset that brand owns: every time one turns up on a slide, a proposal or a conference banner it is adding to the same account.

The argument
Four reasons, not forty
Business value over data movement, end-to-end expertise, accelerators that de-risk, a proven track record. A firm with forty years of material could fill a page here. Four claims in a grid is a decision about what gets remembered.

Proof
Case studies that put a number on it
Three case studies sit in the most valuable space on the homepage, and which three is Definian's call, made in the CMS in about a minute. When a new win lands, or a live sales conversation needs a particular proof point in front of somebody, the homepage can say so that afternoon.

The library
A hundred and seventy-nine articles, and a way not to read them
Case studies, announcements, service pieces and podcasts, behind a keyword box and nineteen tags: Workday, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, Databricks, data governance, healthcare. An executive arrives wanting the one migration that looks like theirs. Forty years of material is only an asset if somebody can reach the part of it that is about them.

Lead capture
A squeeze page you can clone in an afternoon
Three gated books run on one template. Adding the fourth means uploading the PDF and filling in the fields, because the form, the delivery and the follow-up are already wired behind it. The page earns the form, too: the statistics, the chapter list and the argument all sit above it.

Recruiting
Open roles, straight from the system they already use
The careers page pulls live postings through the Greenhouse API, so a role appears the moment recruiting opens it and disappears when it closes. Nobody updates the website to hire someone.

Culture
Actual photographs of actual people
A consultancy competing for the same engineers as everyone else cannot do it with stock imagery. The collage is theirs, and it sits above the values, not below them, because the picture is the argument and the paragraph is the footnote.

Under the hood
Every page is editable
Twenty-eight pages they edit directly, so the language anywhere on the site is theirs to change. Publishing triggers a rebuild of only what moved.
325 pages
Articles, partner pages, case studies, roles and landing pages, every one of them a real page that opens immediately. A site this size is usually where the waiting starts.
Articles arrive as documents
A pipeline turns a Word file into a structured article with headings, FAQ hierarchy, images and sidebars intact, so writing happens where the writers are.
Partner pages from a template
One route serves every technology partner, so a new partnership is content and not a build.
Watched, not guessed at
Product analytics with session replay alongside tag-managed GA4 and LinkedIn tracking, so marketing can see what people actually do.
