The Gillings School is the #1 public health school in the U.S. And it was time for a design upgrade. Their internal marketing team pulled me in as their ongoing strategic design partner to create a consistent brand and apply it across all their marketing efforts.
I designed their new "We're on it!" tagline into a wordmark that can be used across all marketing channels. It was important to keep it in sync with other marketing pieces, so we used our new brand typeface as a starting point.
Getting the logo on as much swag as possible is the goal. Because, as you now know, they’re most definitely on it. And they want the world to know.
Gillings also asked me to brand their inclusive excellence initiative so they could spread their message of inclusion.
I helped them update their antiquated email system and redesigned a new template to match the rest of the brand collateral I had created for them.
I organized the messages and photos from the Gillings marketing team into a comprehensive 28-page booklet to use for recruiting prospective students.
Handouts, magazine ads, event flyers, web banner ads, tradeshow booth — Everything they needed to get their powerful message into the world.
