ANSWERS: |
| 100%
money-back guarantee |
| I will give you
a full refund if you are not completely satisfied
with your website. The obvious caveat is that you
may not use any of the concepts for the website that
I created. In other words, all rights to the concepts
I create are mine until final payment is made. However,
due to the in-depth nature of website design, the
guarantee is not applicable once the design is being
programmed into html (step 4 below). |
| The
website design process |
The
basic process after this quote request is submitted
is to:
| 1) |
DISCOVERY
Call or meet with the client to discuss the information on this quote
request form |
| 2) |
SITE MAP
Trace a rough site map of the site's pages and how those pages will
all relate to one another. |
| 3) |
TEXT-BASED
MOCKUPS
Customer provides text-based (Microsoft Word is preferred) pages
based on the site map. At this time, words are optimized for search
engines, if applicable. |
| 4) |
HOMEPAGE MOCKUP
Since the homepage of any site drives the look and layout of the
rest of the site, the first creative step is to design a few mockup
possibilities and choose one. |
| 5) |
PROGRAMMING
The mockup that is decided upon is programmed into html and put onto
the server as a fully-functioning webpage. After this is approved,
work on the rest of the pages can commence. |
| 6) |
FINALIZE
All the rest of the pages and forms are designed and programmed and
site is optimized for search engines (if applicable). |
|
| The
website design timeline: |
Usually
the process takes a few months. Of course, every
project is different and the timeline varies depending
upon how many pages the website contains, how quickly
client-designer interactions take place and the complexity
of the design needed.
NOTE: If the website is needed quickly by a specific date,
a "rush service" is available. |
